About the AK Durable Supply Co. Foilboard Collection
With our teams roots in designing performance surf and kite boards, we felt AK would be the perfect platform for some of our more experimental watercraft.
Over the years that we’ve been developing our hydrofoils, we found that the boards were playing an important role in the hydrofoil’s overall performance, and needed to become increasingly versatile, which became the starting point for the AK foilboard range.
The Phazer foilboard is a showcase of our obsession with versatility. We set out to create a single foilboard range that caters to foilers who want to explore as many aspects of foil riding as possible, in a single product. The fast rocker, high volume, and compact shapes are easy to use and high performance at the same time, while the optional footstraps and sandwich construction open up the aerial and high-speed potential.
The Compact wingboard has been fully optimized for wingboarding, with its highly concentrated volume, and low swing weight. Perfect for intermediate to advanced wing riders in lighter conditions, the stable platform and centralized volume create a board that is easy to throw around when jumping and doing progressive maneuvers. The high apex rail maintains the feel of a narrow board, with stability provided by the additional width when not planing.

Our hydrofoil technology focuses on combining maximum durability, ease of assembly, and reduced weight into a high-performance system. Our prepreg carbon and composite wings utilize a lightweight foam core, while the tough multi-layer outside lamination optimizes strength and stiffness. Assembly is quick through the use of larger diameter titanium bolts in the foil assembly, and an open-ended connection plate. This aligns with the industry-standard spacing and works in conjunction with our stainless-steel quick connect board inserts.
